Assemblymember Jerry Hill (represents the 19th District, which covers much of San Mateo County) will be holding a town hall meeting this Saturday, March 14th, of which the primary purpose will be to discuss state and legislative issues. Hill is a strong supporter of PTA and funding for public education, but local events and town hall meetings are an excellent opportunity to remind our elected representatives that there is still strong support for full funding of programs that help children and families.
There will be two town halls taking place on Saturday. One will be held at the Pacifica Community Center at 540 Crespi Drive in Pacifica (view map) at 10 AM, and another will be held at the Burlingame Recreation Center at 850 Burlingame Ave. in Burlingame (view map) at 2 PM. Refreshments will be served. You are asked to RSVP on Assemblymember Hill’s website. For more information, you can call his office at (650) 349-1900.
